ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The Men's and Women's Lacrosse programs were honored this week with the Offensive Player of the Week Award. The AAC awards the deserving athletes each week for both offensive and defensive top performers and this week Reinhardt picked up both offensive awards. Shelby O'Neil from the Women's Lacrosse program and Dillan Bousquet from the Men's Lacrosse were this week's honorees.
Shelby O'Neil had an outstanding game last Friday evening when the Eagles welcomed Point University to Ken White Field at University Stadium. She had 7 goals from 7 shot attempts and had 9 ground balls.
Dillan Bousquet had a phenomenal game when the Eagles were on the road playing SCAD Savannah. Bousquet showed why is a top-level player scoring an incredible 9 goals on 13 shot attempts.
Eagle Nation is proud of these two and we will probably see their names again as the lacrosse seasons have just started. Women's Lacrosse will be back in action on Friday late afternoon for a home match against non-conference opponent, Birmingham Southern. The Men's team will be back in action on March 5th when they travel to Florida to take on Webber International.
