Waleska, Ga., Continues to be Home to the Country's Top Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The top team in the land still resides in Waleska, Ga., after Reinhardt continued its stay atop the NAIA mountain as No. 1 in the Men's Lacrosse Coaches' Top 10 Poll, the NAIA national office announced on Wednesday.
The Eagles (7-0, 2-0 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC)) – the three-time defending national champions – received 66 voting points in the rating for the top spot. Additionally, the hometown squad is ahead of Indiana Tech by four points at No. 2.
Reinhardt defeated the Warriors, 11-10, on the road in Indiana back on March 10 in come-from-behind fashion.

Most recently, No. 1 Reinhardt opened road competition within the AAC with a bang after the Eagles netted 11 goals in the first quarter to leave no doubt in a 23-0 outcome over Point (Ga.) yesterday afternoon.
A slew of players found their names in the scorebook multiple times, including Cameron Cochran (3), Brady Hanak (3), Conner Mills (2), Titus Thind (2) and Tyler Wilkinson (2).
In total, 13 players earned tallies in the victory over the Skyhawks. They outshot the opposition, 47-7, with 34 of the attempts coming on-goal.
Cumberlands (Ky.) is next on the schedule as AAC action continues on Saturday at 1 p.m.
