Men's Golf Slotted 17th in Latest NAIA Top 25

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Reinhardt men's golf continues to climb to new heights as a program after the NAIA announced today that the Eagles have soared up three spots to No. 17 in the NAIA Men's Golf Coaches' Top 25 Poll.
The hometown squad grabbed 237 points in the ranking after Reinhardt finished with a cumulative total of 911 (+47) in a star-studded field at the Sand Shark Invitational, hosted by USCB-Beaufort (S.C.), with the Eagles coming in seventh overall in the three-round event.

Individually, Christopher Whitney paced the Reinhardt scorers with rounds of 73, 74 and 75 to finish in 13th-place at 6-over-par. Also in the top 20 was Hunter Clay, who earned a T19 after shooting an opening-round 77 and then rallying with a 76 and 73.
Seong Lee was next up for the Eagles in 33rd-place, and he was followed up by Jack Haller (T39) and Jake McWhorter, who came to the clubhouse in a tie for 46th.
The next event on the calendar is the Skyhawk Invitational on March 9.
