Bio

Dan Mullins has transitioned to assistant golf coach after spending eight seasons as the head men's and women’s coach with Reinhardt Golf, his 16th season overall.  He also previously served as the assistant coach for the men's and women’s teams for five years before taking over the program.

Coach Mullins led the men’s team to the 2016 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) championship and was named 2016 AAC Coach of the Year. The team ended up finishing in 18th place at the NAIA National Championship. 

Mullins has been a PGA member for over 30 years and has extensive teaching and playing experience. He has competed in and won several local and regional tournaments as an amateur and as a professional.

He also has served on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Section PGA and was President of the Georgia PGA Senior Division for 10 years.

Mullins was the Tournament Director for the American Junior Golf Association in 1978-79, helping him in working with juniors to develop their games; many of them received college scholarships.

In 2001, Mullins was named Georgia PGA Professional of the Year.

He also has over thirty years of experience working with players of all skill levels. Mullins has extensive knowledge of the use of video and computerized equipment when analyzing the golf swing. 

Coach Mullins also serves as the Director of Instruction at City Club Marietta Golf Course in Marietta, Ga.

He lives in Newnan with his wife, Paulee.
