Bio

David Finney is in his third year as the Sports Information Director for Reinhardt Athletics after owning and operating his own graphic design/digital printing business for over twenty years.

During his time in the business world, David served the public creating web and print design, video editing and production, digital printing, social media content, and more.

David is a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and he received his Master’s of Science in Sports Administration and Leadership from Reinhardt University in Summer, 2021.

David also served as Director of Mountain City Soccer Club for six years where he also coached. He was part of a group that developed a soccer program for the youth of Pickens County, Georgia that was recognized on the state level. He helped grow the program that started off with less than one hundred youth to almost four hundred around fifty youth at its highest point. Most recently, David coached middle and high school-aged students under United Futbol Academy (UFA) where he has been coaching for the past six years.

David holds a National D Coaching License under the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and is a certified Grade 8 referee with over 15 years of experience.

He also served as a Board of Directors member for Pickens County Recreation Department for four years which helped fill his passion for community involvement in sport and recreation for people of all ages.

David resides in Pickens County, GA with his wife, Kristie, and their three children - Lauren, Will, and Anna Grace.
