Bio

Tony Campbell is in his first year of becoming the head coach for Reinhardt Women's Basketball after being an assistant coach for the men’s team for the past two years. In addition to his coaching duties, Tony has also been the Assistant Athletic Director for the past year with Reinhardt.

Before coming back to Reinhardt, He was an assistant coach at North Cobb High School in Acworth, GA, and Cherokee High School just eight miles away in neighboring Canton, GA.

Coach Campbell’s last collegiate coaching job, before returning back to Reinhardt was at Clayton State University in Morrow, Ga where he learned under legendary coach Gordon Gibbons. During his time there he coached five All-Peach-Belt Conference selections and 4 professional players.  

Tony began his collegiate coaching career at Truett-McConnell University where he was the assistant for both the men’s and women’s teams there during the 2007-2008 season. After this, he made his way to Reinhardt to coach under former Eagles Men's Basketball and current Athletic Director, Jeffrey Pourchier.

Before his coaching career began, Tony played for Kennesaw State University under longtime Owl's Head Coach, Tony Ingle. He later transferred to Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, GA to play under both Randolph Barksdale and Mike Leeder. While at Georgia Southwestern, he was a three-year captain and earned a double major in psychology and sociology. 

Tony is a native of Marietta, GA. where he was a prep standout at Sprayberry High School. 

Tony has his wife, Katie, have four kids, Malachi, Elijah, Ava, and Donovan. They are members of the Factory Church in Woodstock, GA.
