Nick Sanders enters his second season as an assistant coach for the Eagles. Sanders is tasked as the team’s infield coach along with assisting with hitting. Sanders will also be working specifically with assisting in eth recruiting of high school players

Prior to Sanders coaching career, he played 5 seasons under current Head Coach Jonathan Burton. One while at Lindsey Wilson College (2018), where he won MSC Freshman of the year and the other four seasons at Reinhardt University (2019-2022). Sanders recorded over 750 at bats in his playing career while playing middle infield.

“Adding Nick to our staff was a must for me, stated Head Coach Jonathan Burton. Hiring someone fresh out of playing is daunting but when the person knows the game as well as Nick does it becomes an easy decision. Nick has been around baseball all his life, was practically groomed in the game by many successful people.”

“Nick will help our infielders with his ability to teach the things that most don’t see. I am excited he has chosen to stay with us and begin his coaching career at Reinhardt.”

Sanders holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Studies and a Masters of Business Administration from Reinhardt University. Nick lives in Waleska, GA
