Bio

Megan Maxwell is a native of Gainesville, Georgia, and rejoined the Reinhardt University Athletic Training staff in January 2024 as the Head Football Athletic Trainer. Before Reinhardt, Megan served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for 3 & ½ years for Pro Impact Physical Therapy, where she was contracted to Faulkner University. Her sports assignments with Faulkner University included Men’s/Women’s Soccer, Baseball, and Football. She was a part of 2 NAIA World Series qualifying teams with Baseball in 2020 & 2021. She also served as a Preceptor for local MAT programs and senior intern students at Faulkner.  

From August 2019 to March 2020, Megan worked as an Intern Athletic Trainer at Reinhardt with both the Men’s and Women’s Basketball.  

Before becoming a Certified Athletic Trainer, she attended Piedmont College where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training degree in May 2019.  At Piedmont College, she had the opportunity to work with Men’s Basketball, Women’s Lacrosse, Baseball, and Men’s/Women’s Tennis at the Division III level.  In August 2022, she earned her Master of Science in Applied Exercise Science (Sports Nutrition Concentration) degree from Concordia University Chicago’s online program.  

Megan is excited to return to Reinhardt University and looks forward to working on one of the NAIA’s top Athletic Training departments. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, playing volleyball, and cheering on the UGA football team at Sanford Stadium in Athens.
