Eagles bring on longtime Reinhardt cheerleader and 2020 graduate, Ivey Gangi, as the new head coach for Reinhardt Cheer.  The head coaching spot opened up this summer when the former head coach and Reinhardt professor, Kelley Horton, was promoted to Senior Women Administrator for Reinhardt Athletics. Gangi cheered under Horton during her time on the field and court for the Eagles so she understands what it takes to cheer for the Navy and Gold. Gangi also served as the assistant coach for the past two years so her move to the head spot will be a seamless transition.

Gangi graduated from Reinhardt with a degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Sports Studies. She is currently a teacher in the Cherokee County School System.

While at Reinhardt, Gangi was a cheerleader for five years and served as team captain for two of those years.
